32,000 square feet. Built not for now, but built for always.
There is a word that ran through every single conversation we had with this client, from the first meeting to the last site review. Not luxury. Not scale. Not style.
Permanence.
They were not building a home for the family that exists today. They were building a family seat, a place that would hold an extended family across generations not yet born, that would still be standing and still be relevant long after everyone who commissioned it was gone. The ambition was not architectural. It was dynastic.
That word, permanence, changes every design decision. You stop asking what looks impressive and start asking what lasts. Trends are irrelevant. Proportion matters absolutely. Materials are chosen for how they age, not how they photograph. Spaces are sized for the full range of human life, intimate enough for daily living, grand enough to hold occasions that come once in a generation.
At 32,000 square feet, holding both registers simultaneously, without one compromising the other, is the central design challenge. We are inside it. Every decision is being held against a single test: will this still be right in fifty years?
Some buildings take time because they are large. ASN Palace is taking time because it is being built to last. There is a difference. We are not in a hurry.
